Glasshouse Education Launch Success

Last night, Thursday 11 November 2021, the Glasshouse welcomed 60+ teachers and educators to be the first to see our exciting 2022 Education @ Glasshouse Program and to take advantage of the opportunity to book their students into our events on the night.
Excitement was high and the response with future bookings for next year spoke for itself, with many events selling out on the night.
The Education @ Glasshouse Program delivers educational opportunities for children aged Pre-school to Year 12 across the Performing Arts and Gallery.
The Glasshouse team works with our local schools and education providers to cooperatively deliver a wide range of creative learning opportunities to our youth. We hope that these experiences inspire the development of creative adaptable minds - minds that will find solutions to the complex problems that we face, both now and into the future.
In a world where the only constant is change, we must equip ourselves and the next generation with minds that can instinctively navigate and adapt. And what better way to do so than with a creative education program that equips young minds to not just wonder at, but to also wonder about, the ever-changing world around us.
The 2016 World Economic Forum report predicted that the skills required for the fourth industrial revolution will be complex problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity, alongside emotional intelligence and cognitive flexibility.
That is precisely what the Education @ the Glasshouse Program aims to do every year through the provision of a wide range of creative learning experiences. Whether it’s a future artist, engineer, programmer or manager, we seek to inspire the development of flexible minds that are full of wonder, curiosity and empathy for the world around us.
